The 3rd Einstein Telescope Annual Meeting takes place in Warsaw
From November 12 to 15, the Einstein Telescope Collaboration convened its 3rd annual meeting at the ADN Conference Center in Warsaw. The event, hosted by the University of Warsaw in collaboration with the Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Center, brought together over 500 participants.
The gathering was an opportunity to share updates, discuss, and present plans for the future of the gravitational wave observatory in technical workshops, parallel sessions, and plenary sessions. Key topics included updates on the Einstein Telescope’s design, geological studies of potential sites, and strategic planning for international collaboration, among others. On the final day, there were satellite meetings as well to delve deeper into relevant subjects.
The meeting reaffirmed the consortium’s commitment to advancing gravitational wave science and fostering global cooperation in this pioneering field, highlighting the growing momentum behind this groundbreaking initiative.
